OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
At Urban Acts, we believe the Bible
Both Old and New Testaments is God-breathed, Spirit-inspired, and our final authority for faith, life, and action.
We believe there is one true and living God
He is perfect in all His ways: the Creator, Sustainer, and Sovereign over everything.
He alone is worthy of worship.
We believe God exists eternally in three persons:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal in glory, power, and majesty.
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man
The Word made flesh — who came to rescue us.
In Him, the divine and human meet perfectly.
We believe humanity was created good but fell through sin.
Through Adam and Eve’s disobedience, sin entered the world,
and now all have sinned and stand in need of salvation.
We believe Jesus Christ died for all
His death and resurrection making a way for anyone, anywhere, to be forgiven and restored.
The offer of salvation is for whosoever will.
We believe salvation comes through repentance toward God, faith in Jesus Christ, and the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.
We believe we are justified
made right with God by grace through faith.
Those who believe know His Spirit testifies within them that they belong to Him.
We believe every follower of Jesus is called to live a holy life
A life that's set apart, Spirit-filled, body, soul, and spirit kept blameless until Christ returns.
We believe the Holy Spirit is at work today
giving gifts, calling us to deeper unity, empowering the Church, and equipping every believer for ministry.
We believe the Holy Spirit leads us to repentance, births us into new life in Christ, empowers our discipleship, and fuels our mission to reach the world.
We believe Jesus is coming back
personally, visibly, gloriously and to bring His kingdom to fullness.
He will raise the dead, judge the world in righteousness, give eternal life to the redeemed, and establish a new heaven and a new earth.
OUR TEAM
RICK MILLS
Rick grew up in a non-Christian home and spent many years battling addiction and was in and out of prison. His life was radically transformed when he encountered Jesus. As the founder and CEO of Urban Acts, Rick is committed to seeing lives transformed by breaking the cycles of addiction, crime, and fatherlessness. He regularly goes into prisons, and disciples men and women to become the people God created them to be. As an associate evangelist with Mission24, Rick works alongside Jonathan Conrath's ministry, equipping churches with the tools for power evangelism. Rick is married to Rachel, father to Zak, and they live in the South West.
