DAY 1

The journey of Fire in the Bay began in a significant way, as we gathered with church leaders from around Paignton for a meet and greet with Dr. Jonathan Oloyede.

Dr. Jonathan shared a transformative word from Acts 12:5: “The church prayed very earnestly.” He spoke powerfully about the importance of unity in prayer, especially in the face of adversity. In Acts 12, we read how James was killed, and Peter was imprisoned, but in that moment of challenge, the church came together to pray earnestly and with one heart. The result? Miraculous breakthrough. Peter was set free, and the power of prayer moved heaven and earth. Dr. Jonathan reminded us that, like the early church, we are called to pray earnestly, regardless of the circumstances. It is through our united prayers that God moves in power to bring about the change we seek—not just in our own lives, but in our communities and the world.

As we prayed and worshipped together, there was a tangible sense of expectation in the room. We could feel that something significant was beginning—there is truly fire in the bay! What God started on Day One is just the beginning. We are filled with hope and anticipation for the days ahead as we continue to seek His presence, learn from the powerful teachings, and engage in outreach and evangelism.

This week, Fire in the Bay isn’t just an event; it’s an invitation to experience a revival of hearts, prooting unity in the body of Christ. It’s a chance to come together as the church and see the transforming power of prayer at work in our lives and our communities. As we move forward in the coming days, we are praying for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit—a revival that will spread across Paignton, the Bay, and beyond.

As we continue to gather throughout this week, we know that God is going to move in powerful ways. There is a great sense of expectation, and we are excited for what is still to come. Whether you’re joining us for evangelism training, the healing service on Friday night, or the revival service with Apostle Ella Onakoya, we believe that God has something special in store for every single person.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. We are united in faith and prayer, and we can’t wait to see what God will continue to do throughout this week!

Day 2

Coming off the high of Day 1, tonight, we were met with a powerful illustration from 1 Kings 18. We were reminded of the story of Elijah and the cloud he saw after praying for rain. At first, the sky was empty, but then there was a small cloud, as small as a fist, rising from the sea. Elijah declared that the rain was coming. But as he prayed again, the sky grew dark, and heavy rain began to pour. The storm was upon them. Tonight we were gently challenged with question - what do we see?

We focused on tearing down the high places—the idols we have allowed to take priority in our lives and the false truths we came into agreement with. There was corporate repentance and we humbly acknowledged where we have become apathetic, where we’ve allowed distractions, and where we’ve let the world’s values creep in.

There was a spiritual weight in the room as we came together to lay down our idols—our personal idols, but also the idols of society and culture that have seeped into our hearts and minds. This was a moment of surrender, and we were ready to build on the foundation of truth.

Paul gave a powerful call to action that stirred the hearts of everyone in the room. Other leaders joined in to encourage us to lay it all down. They spoke of the sacrifice required and the commitment needed to see the work of the Lord move forward. We were challenged to be a generation willing to take action—to step up and say, “Yes, we are ready to build the walls, to rebuild the ruins, and to stand in agreement with God’s truth.”We were reminded of the words spoken in Ezra and Nehemiah—how the people of God had to lay down everything in order to rebuild the ancient ruins.

Day 3

Day 3 of Fire in the Bay was a day full of action, empowerment, and life-changing ministry. It began with a powerful Mission24 training session led by Rick Mills and Jenny Carroll, where we were equipped in evangelism, street preaching, and the ministry of the Gospel. It didn’t stop there—God moved in mighty ways, and by the end of the day, we saw the transforming power of the Gospel at work in our community.

Rick and Jenny shared the heart of evangelism, diving deep into why we evangelise, the message we carry, and how we can bring God’s love into the streets with boldness. Their teaching wasn’t just theoretical—it was practical. They reminded us that evangelism is not just a task; it’s a calling, and it requires a lifestyle of boldness.

As part of the training, we went out into the streets to put everything we had learned into action. Street preaching became a tool for reaching the lost, with each of us stepping out in faith to share the hope of Jesus with those who needed to hear it most.

As we shared the Gospel, the signs followed:

  • Deliverance took place as people were set free from oppression.

  • Healings happened in real-time, with several people experiencing physical restoration.

  • We saw people filled with the Holy Spirit, and many responded to the Gospel message, giving their lives to Christ.

These moments were powerful reminders that when we step out in faith, God shows up in mighty ways, performing miracles and transformations.

We were also incredibly blessed to have Teen Challenge Exeter with us on Day 3. Teen Challenge, a ministry that focuses on addiction recovery, joined us in our outreach efforts and took a team out into the streets of Paignton. They ministered to a young man who is currently considering rehabilitation and looking for a way out of the cycle of addiction.

This moment was a divine appointment—as the team from Teen Challenge spoke to him about hope, healing, and the freedom that is found in Jesus Christ. We are praying that this young man will find the strength to step into the life-changing journey of rehabilitation and recovery, and we’re believing for restoration in his life.

Throughout the day, we saw the power of God at work in real-time: hearts opened, lives touched, and chains broken. We witnessed the Gospel come alive on the streets, and we know that seeds were planted in the hearts of many who will continue to wrestle with the message they heard. It’s not just about the immediate results—it’s about the long-term transformation that happens when people encounter the truth of Jesus Christ.

As we continue our journey through Fire in the Bay, we are more expectant than ever for what God will do next. Evangelism, healing, deliverance, and restoration are just the beginning. We are setting our sights on the future, believing that revival is coming and that God is calling us to be a part of it.

If Day 3 was any indication, we know that the rain is coming—and with it, revival and healing for Paignton and beyond.

Day 4

Day 4 of Fire in the Bay was another powerful chapter in our journey, as Lloyd Dyke and Rick Mills led us in impactful teaching and ministry. The day was marked by a powerful time of surrender, baptisms in the Holy Spirit, and a renewed sense of boldness as we took the streets to share the Gospel.

The morning session with Lloyd and Rick was deeply stirring. Rick taught on the Authority of the believing-believer and the raw power of the holy spirit through our relationship with the father and emphasised the boldness that comes from the Holy Spirit. When we surrender, we allow ourselves to be used as vessels of God’s power. Rick reminded us that God doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called, and that all believers are called to take His message into the world with boldness and authority. Lloyd shared on the baptism of the holy spirit and recieving power, comparing diffrent verses that pointed to the plain truth of the teaching. He also encouraged us to stop relying on our own abilities and to trust in God’s power—because with the Holy Spirit, all things are possible!

The powerful theme of surrender led us into a time of prayer and activation, where we witnessed a significant moment of baptism in the Holy Spirit. As believers, we gathered in faith, praying for one another, and many experienced a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit.

The room was filled with a deep sense of joy and peace as people were baptized in the Spirit, speaking in new tongues and receiving spiritual gifts. It was a moment of empowerment, as the Holy Spirit touched hearts, filled believers with boldness, and set us on fire for the mission ahead. The Holy Spirit’s presence was undeniable, and many reported feeling a deeper connection to God and a newfound boldness to share the Gospel. This was a significant turning point for many, as we prepared to go out onto the streets with the message of hope.

Later in the day, we took to the streets of Paignton with a renewed boldness and passion for evangelism. Equipped with the message of salvation, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we set out with hearts full of faith, ready to proclaim the Gospel and minister to those in need. The streets were alive with encounters as we shared the love of Jesus with those we met. Prayers for healing and deliverance were powerful, and many people responded to the message of salvation. We laid hands on the sick, spoke words of encouragement, and saw miracles in real-time. The boldness that we received from the Holy Spirit allowed us to step out of our comfort zones and speak to strangers, share the hope of Jesus, and see lives touched. We saw firsthand how the Holy Spirit empowers believers to walk in courage and faith, even in the face of uncertainty.

As we wrapped up Day 4, it was clear that God is moving in Paignton, and the Holy Spirit is at work in the hearts of believers and non-believers alike. We walked away from the day with a fresh sense of boldness and expectation for the rest of the week. The Spirit of God is with us, empowering us to be His hands and feet in this world.

We are more empowered than ever as we continue to see boldness in evangelism, healing, and breakthrough in our communities. Fire in the Bay is about to get even more exciting, and we can’t wait to see what God will do next as we continue to step out in faith and obedience.

God is raising up a mighty army of believers who are filled with the Holy Spirit and ready to take the Gospel into every corner of the world. We are just  getting started.

Day 5

Day 5 of Fire in the Bay was one for the books. As the event continued to build momentum, Jenny Carroll shared an incredibly honest teaching about healing that created space for the listeners to truly wrestle with the realities of healing while also standing in faith. The room was filled with expectation and hope, and God did not disappoint.

The day began with a time of prayer for healing. Jenny led us in a session where we took a deep dive into the gift of healing and after we had a time of activation. We spent time praying for one another, and the Holy Spirit moved in powerful ways. The atmosphere was charged with faith, and God responded in kind.

As we prayed, we saw miracles unfold right before our eyes. Here are some of the incredible healings we witnessed:

  • A cancer spot shrank and became less inflamed—an undeniable sign of God’s healing touch.

  • Lumps that had been present for some time disappeared before our eyes!

  • A man, who had been suffering from knee pain, received new knees—his pain completely vanished, and he was restored in the moment!

These moments of healing were tangible reminders that God still heals today, and His power is at work in every heart and body that believes.

The highlight of Day 5 came after the Gospel Healing Meeting, when we witnessed a miracle unfold in real-time. We saw a woman who had been unable to speak for 10 years and had been bound to a wheelchair for 20 years suddenly stand up. Not only did she stand, but she also spoke the name of Jesus for the first time in over a decade! Praise be to Jesus for this miraculous healing!

As we reflected on the healings and miracles of the evening, we were reminded of the unchanging power of God’s Word and His promise to heal. This night of healing was a significant milestone in our journey of faith, and we are deeply moved by the testimony of what we witnessed.

Day 6

Day 6 of Fire in the Bay was a day filled with reflections, testimonies, and a prophetic release that set the stage for what’s to come. After a week of powerful teaching and equipping, it was time to pause, reflect, and step out once again in bold faith.

We began Day 6 with a morning session where we took time to reflect on all the teaching we had received throughout the week from Rick Mills Llyod Dyke and Jenny Carroll. The recap was a time to celebrate what God had already done and to reignite our hearts for the work ahead. We were reminded that we are called to be His witnesses, equipped by the Holy Spirit, ready to bring the Gospel to the streets and see lives transformed.

After the morning recap, we hit the streets once again, but this time, there was something especially powerful about the young people who stepped forward. Many of them took the bold step to share the Gospel with their other young people, and their courage resulted in amazing testimonies. Some even took the mic to share their personal testimonies. It was inspiring to see that God is raising up a generation that is unafraid to share their faith and bring others into the Kingdom of God. The streets of Paignton were full of life, joy, and hope, as young souls encountered the love of Jesus for the first time. It was a clear reminder that the harvest is plentiful, and the workers are being raised up to gather it.

As the day transitioned into evening, we gathered together for one of the most anticipated sessions of the week. Prophet Ella Onakoya shared a powerful, prophetic word with us that stirred hearts and set the stage for what’s ahead. Prophet Ella’s heart for revival and awakening was evident as she spoke. She shared that we are in a critical season—one where the church is being awakened to its true identity and purpose. Her words were a call to action, a reminder that revival begins with us—individually and collectively. She encouraged us to press in, to seek God’s heart, and to be prepared for what He is about to do in our midst.

Her message was a prophetic release, and many felt the stirring of the Spirit in their hearts as she spoke. There was a sense that we were being prepared for the next great move of God, and it was time for each of us to step into our God-given authority and calling.
